The story follows the lives of Reed (Ashton Kutcher), a florist who's madly in love with his girlfriend (Jessica Alba) just to find out she's not ready, Julia (Jennifer Garner) that has the idea of spending the holiday with her heartfelt boyfriend Dr. Harrison Copeland (Patrick Dempsey) to find he is an unfaithful spouse. These are just two examples of how numerous couples intertwine during their own hell of a holiday.
